The Donegal Vest Knitting Pattern

Crafted with timeless Aran stitches, the Donegal Vest is a versatile unisex piece intended to elevate your everyday style, seamlessly pairing with anything from denim to tailoring. The vest is worked from the bottom up and the front and back are worked separately.  Once complete, the front and back are seamed at the side and shoulders before working the armhole and neck edging. While intentionally oversized, the vest offers the flexibility to achieve a snug fit by opting for a size down. This pattern includes a chart as well as written instructions.

US8/5mm needles
Cable needle (any size equal to or smaller than 5mm will work)

It is important to  wash and leave the swatch to dry before measuring as cable-knit tends to grow after wet blocking
